How to backup your Nokia files on your PC

Backing up files is simply creating extra copies of your files in another drive (storage media) or on same drive.

This post on how to backup your Nokia phone files on your PC will let you collect the extra copy of your data of your phone to PC.

How to backup your Nokia files on your PC

Requirements

All you need to posses are your Nokia phone and PC (Personal Computer)

How?

Foremost, Nokia PC Suite must be installed on your PC. Read my post on how to connect your Nokia phone to PC……… if you need guide in connecting your phone.

==> With the help of the USB cable, connect your Nokia phone to your PC.

==> Launch Nokia PC suite and ensure it is connected.

==> Click on Backup (the first top icon)

==> Tick the area you wish to backup

==> Click on Next

==> Select the drive/folder you want the backup file be saved using the button and the dialog box that will appear. Also enter the name you wish to give the file.

==> Click on Save

==> Click Next

Backing up of files of ticked areas will commence

==> Click on Close

Now, go to the folder you selected and see the copy of your Nokia phone data.

Do you know that you can restore your files if the original files on your PC get lost with just a double-click?

To restore, simply connect your phone and double-click the Icon representing the backup file at the drive you saved it on your PC.
