How to access wikipedia offline

If you searches the web everyday and frequently search for answers to questions at search engines, then the word ‘wikipedia’ will not sound new to you.

Wikipedia has proven itself has the world number one article site that contains answers to almost all questions being searched online as at today.

Lets take for instance, when the word ‘affiliate’ is searched on google, at the first page of the search result, wikipedia will be among the first five sites to display answer in response to the search keyword.

So, wikipedia has been generally accepted as one of the best article base. It is the sixth most popular website in the world.

How to access wikipedia offline

This seems as copying the whole wikipedia site and pasted on your PC. Will it work? Even if it works, How will it be done?

To access wikipedia in offline mode, an application is needed. Pocket wikipedia will let you access wikipedia without any internet connection.

All you need to do now is to click here to download the application.

This application (Pocket wikipedia) is a 175MB zip file, download it, extract it. Then look for the file WikipediaW, click to open.

Click the search icon and type your question at the bar, click go.
