As a matter of fact, Adobe Reader always consume much memory on starting.
Why?
Adobe Reader loads all the plugins(both the one you use and those you don’t, thereby taking much time on loading)
With this tip on how to open adobe reader as fast as notepad, you will be able to
remove the plugins from its directory to elsewhere in your windows, thereby making the program to open directly without loading the plugins.
FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW
1= Go to the installation folder of Acrobat Reader. [C:Program FilesAdobeReader 9.0Reader]
Or double-click on My Computer Icon.
Click on Local disk, Or follow this line
LOCAL DISK = PROGRAM FILES = ADOBE = READER
2= Carefully select all the folders and files in the plugin directory, move it to the optional folder/directory.
NOTE: While doing this, do not open acrobat reader.
3= You can now open your Acrobat Reader, and see how it will open as fast as notepad.
